Position Brief
The Digital Designer will collaborate with the owner / lead designer, accounts manager, and other team members (web
developer, other designers, and freelancers such as motion designers and copywriters) on various projects.
Applicants should have knowledge of graphic and print design, website design, some illustration or custom typography
skills, and storyboarding skills. The Digital Designer should be a self-starter, have the ability to set and achieve
goals, and be able to handle multiple projects. Creativity is a must. We’re looking to see portfolios that show a range
of skills and styles. Please note: don’t be deterred from applying if there is a skill listed above that you do not
currently possess.
We are looking for a team member who can contribute to Grid Principles’ growth through creating dope designs. This
position will report to the Lead Designer and the Accounts Manager.

Have access to high-speed internet (for uploading and downloading files and for video meetings)
Software
Grid Principles uses a variety of software to create designs. For print and graphic design we use the Affinity Suite and
for websites and other UI designs we use Sketch. Please know that you do not have to use these programs, but it would be
helpful in keeping continuity with the Grid Principles workflow. As long as you know how to use your software of choice
to design amazing graphics, that's what matters most.
We utilize a project management system to communicate the status of projects, deadlines, and share content. You do not
need to have prior experience with a project management system. If hired, you'll be onboarded to our system.
